Hijacked photos from flickr, rightback22

I was hunting around on flickr and came up with this?  A garbage truck?  No!  It's a creative camper living space on wheels.
Rightback22 took these pictures of this camper palace on wheels.  There is a small movement in this country, small space dwellers.  Some are tired of paying huge rents or house payments and commuting miles and hours a day... so enters a solution, small living!
I am in love with this camper.  I could adjust myself to such a space someday.
...a wonderful space

A movie star visits Rio Vista Ca.

Lady Washington and/or sets constructed by GHHSA have appeared in numerous motion pictures since her launch in 1989. GHHSA film credits include:

Star Trek: Generations (Paramount Pictures, 1994)

The West (IMAX)

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl (Walt Disney Pictures, 2003)

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (Walt Disney Pictures, 2006)

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Walt Disney Pictures, 2007)

Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain are unique and highly recognizable properties available to film and video producers as historical sets, platforms for corporate training videos, advertising campaigns, documentary productions, short films, productions that launch new products, and other uses. Because both vessels are at sea most of the year, availability is dependent on ship location and schedules. GHHSA also offers set construction capabilities.

9 on F Green Homes in Sacramento

Saturday, October 4, 2008

9 on F St. energy efficient homes are located in Sacramento Ca. I had recently taken a self tour of the models and was very impressed. I thought they were so modern and sleek, like nothing I have ever seen. You walk in to wonderful floors wood floors, crisp carpets, and a pleasing floor plan.

You could live comfortably in this setting starting at 1300-1550 square feet and a one car garage.

When you walk up you will notice the garage is the first level and the rest of the house is placed above. Of course this is to reduce the amount of space for each unit. No big building foot prints here! If you are looking for a spacious backyard, keep all your stuff in the moving van and keep driving! This is not your next home...

Pictured above are the 'street units'. Contemporary and Victorian are how these units are defined in the brochure. Also stated are the 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, and a stainless steel and granite kitchen.

Next up are the 'courtyard units'. These units are in a loft style which also has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. If your are in to the whole solar panel thing you are in luck. This home is pre-wired and all set to go! All you need are some gorgeous men to install those panels!!

If you are a dog lover these will not work, unless you have a micro-tiny-mini-teacup variety type of dog. I am a proud dogmom of a husky/lab mix and a super hyper jack russell...no go!! I still like the whole idea of this design and the feel as you walk in leaves you with a feeling of AAHHH! I so dig'em... but the 'boyz' won't!!
